I 'm asking for your vote for Port of Columbia County Commissioner, Here's why.
Columbia County's economy needs leadership that is qualified, experienced and dedicated to bringing good jobs, business opportunities, and quality recreation to our communities. I believe I am the person for that job.
I am a lifelong Columbia County resident, with the exception of when I left for college. I currently live in Prescott with my wife and two stepsons. I have been involved with many public and non-profit boards over the years, which has given me a considerable amount of leadership and civic experience. I am a Registered Professional Engineer with a BSEE from Oregon State University and am a Graduate of St. Helens High School.
Qualified
I have years of experience managing public assets as a Professional Engineer (P.E.), project and Economic Development Manager for a local public utility. Combined with my private sector engineering experience I feel I am the perfect candidate for Port Commissioner.
Experienced
As part of my job as Economic Development Manager for Clatskanie PUD, I regularly attend Port meetings and have a firm understanding of Port operations. Through my experience serving on the Rainier Chamber of Commerce board as President, the Columbia County Planning Commission, Clatskanie Planning Commission, and the Scappoose Bay Marine Park Advisory Committee, I have insight into the Port, the local economy and the inner workings of what makes business successful in Columbia County.
Dedicated
I have a passion for public service and the Port’s mission matches perfectly with my experience, education and skill set, allowing me the opportunity to give back to the community.
