I've been a school nurse in St. Helens for over 26 years and have been involved numerous community events and causes. Being engaged is important for healthy communities. I am excited to vote for Brian because he is a new generation rising to the top to be leaders. He has already been involved in leadership of many civic and local organizations. This shows he cares about his community. Please join me in voting for Brian Fawcett as Port of Columbia County Commissioner.
"As the former Communications Manager for Boise Cascade St. Helens, I understand the importance of community engagement by local industry. Brian's civic and professional experience gives him the skills necessary to be an effective and engaged Port Commissioner. He has my vote."
"I’ve had the privilege of working with Brian for over seven years. We have served on the HOPE Food Pantry board of directors and on the Rainier Chamber of commerce. I’ve depended on Brian’s engineering and leadership to develop a new stand-up marine terminal in Westport, Oregon that takes 400 trucks off Highway 30 every month. We have worked together on expanding intermodal opportunities at the Teevin facility in Rainier that takes 42,000 trucks annually off highway 30, and links more than 60 Oregon businesses to South and mid-Pacific markets. With his knowledge, skills and abilities, he will be an outstanding addition to the Board of Directors for the Port of Columbia County.“
"I’ve come to know Brian as an individual with a deep understanding of how to develop responsible public infrastructure, create jobs and improve the livability of our great County. We are fortunate to have such a qualified candidate, with a proven track record, on the ballot."
"Brian has the experience it takes to serve as our Port Commissioner. I'm voting for him because he understands that the mission of the port is to create jobs and promote economic development opportunities for Columbia County. "
